Kong Vang and Tou Vang Injured in Car Crash on SR-50 Saturday
PLACERVILLE, Ca (October 12, 2019) – Two brothers suffered injuries following a solo-vehicle accident on Highway 50 Saturday afternoon, the ABC News reported.
Preliminary investigation revealed 28-year-old Tou Vang was behind the wheel of a 2007 Toyota traveling on the highway around 1:42 p.m. When the vehicle approached the area near Shingle Springs Drive, Tou allowed the Toyota to veer off the roadway.
First responders found the pickup truck overturned and at a rest in the KOA campground.

Authorities also identified the sole passenger in the Toyota as 26-year-old Kong Vang. Our sources indicated Kong severed his arm in the accident. Due to his condition, paramedics rushed Kong to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned Tou sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Investigators believed Tou fell asleep while driving, leading to the collision. Further investigation on the case is underway.
