Innocent Driver Killed in Traffic Collision at 6th Street and Wilton Place Thursday
Los Angeles, CA (September 4, 2021) – One person died, and several others suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred in the area of West 6th Street and South Wilton Place in Koreatown.
On September 2, Thursday, a police pursuit took place in Koreatown. The CBS Los Angeles reported police officers were conducting a human trafficking investigation in Koreatown around 11:35 p.m. Officials spotted two suspects traveling in a Mercedes sedan at the intersection of North Gramercy Place and Beverly Boulevard.
Officers launched a pursuit that lasted only about two minutes.
According to the article published online, the Mercedes collided with three other cars before coming to a rest at the crossing of West 6th Street and South Wilton Place.
Authorities said a pickup truck sustained significant damage from the crash. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the male driver but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

Two ambulances later arrived at the accident scene. Medical teams transported to nearby hospitals two other drivers with severe injuries.
Meanwhile, the two suspects apparently received treatments for minor injuries before being taken into custody.
Investigators assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the fatal car crash in Koreatown.
