Deadly Crash on Christmas Eve
Asher Linden Tenud, of Santa Maria, was reportedly driving southbound on Highway 1 in a green 1998 Jaguar XJR. The motorist entered a right-hand curve in the roadway, just south of Constellation Road and lost control of his vehicle, police said.
The man’s vehicle crossed through the dirt median before crashing head-on into a northbound 2007 Honda Odyssey driven by Krissy Partlow.
The two vehicles wound up on the right shoulder and the Jaguar overturned onto its roof.
The driver of the Jaguar suffered fatal injuries at the scene, but the woman driving the Honda survived with major injuries.
Paramedics transported Krissy Partlow to Lompoc Valley Medical Center and she was later transferred to Stanford Medical Center where she will undergo facial reconstruction surgery.
