Kristen Advanis Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident on Ocean Boulevard

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Multiple Vehicles in Long Beach Identified
LONG BEACH, Calif. (June 24, 2025) — Kristen Advanis, 56, was killed Saturday night after being struck by multiple vehicles at Ocean Boulevard and Falcon Avenue in Long Beach.
The fatal incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22nd, near Ninth Place, according to the Long Beach Fire Department.
The victim, identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, was walking within a marked crosswalk at Ocean Boulevard and Falcon Avenue.
Meanwhile, a driver in an eastbound dark-colored sedan hit the victim and fled the scene. Next, a 59-year-old Tustin man driving a 2016 BMW X3 struck the victim who was down in the roadway. This driver stopped immediately and remained at the scene.
However, a third eastbound vehicle, described as another dark-colored sedan, also struck the man and fled before officers arrived.
Investigators believe speed and distracted driving may have played roles in the collisions involving the two hit-and-run drivers.
Sadly, paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department arrived on the scene, but Kristen Advanis did not survive.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact LBPD Collision Investigation Detail at 562-570-7355.
