Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman on Cameron Park Drive Tuesday
Cameron Park, CA (March 9, 2022) – Kristina Mullican, a 59-year-old Shingle Springs resident, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Cameron Park Drive.
The Sacramento Bee News reported a vehicle struck a female party near Green Valley Road Tuesday evening. Preliminary investigation revealed the pedestrian attempted to cross Cameron Park Drive in an eastward direction, outside of a crosswalk. The horrible crash took place when the driver of an oncoming 2015 Ram pickup truck was not able to avoid and hit the woman.
Officials mentioned the catastrophic incident took place shortly before 7 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the victim lying on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene. The California Highway Patrol group identified the deceased as Kristina Mullican.
Meanwhile, the 50-year-old Placerville man driving the pickup truck appeared unharmed after the crash.
Further investigation is ongoing on the deadly accident on Cameron Park Drive.
