KYBURZ, El Dorado County (February 21, 2017) – One was hospitalized after a traffic collision on Highway 50 Tuesday evening, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP said two vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of Lincoln Highway, just west of Silver Fork Road. The accident took place about 7:07 p.m.
As per the report log, fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to at least one person who suffered minor injuries following the crash. The patient was then transported to Marshall Medical Center for further medical aid and evaluation.
The dispatch mentioned that one of the cars involved left after the involved parties exchanged information. Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
