1 Killed in Fallbrook Collision
FALLBROOK, Calif. (November 30, 2022) – Kyle James Jenkins, 32, of Fallbrook, died following a motorcycle versus pickup truck crash Saturday on South Mission Road.
The crash occurred about 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 12th, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner.
The Fallbrook man was riding a motorcycle northbound on Mission Road between La Canada and Via Monserate in Fallbrook.
Meanwhile, a driver in a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was traveling westbound on La Canada. The truck reportedly made a left hand turn onto southbound Mission Road where it crashed into the motorcyclist.
The rider was thrown off the bike and landed roughly 200 yards from point of impact, the coroner said.
Someone called 911 and paramedics responded to the scene where they confirmed the motorcyclist’s death at the scene.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Fallbrook crash.
