LA GRANGE (October 27, 2016)- According to Fox 40 News, a deadly hit-and-run crash resulted in tragedy on Friday, October 21st, near the area of La Grange and Bond Flat roads.
Police officials disclosed that a driver crossed over the double yellow lines to illegally pass a vehicle directly into the pass of a Lexus SUV being driven by Tina Hoffman forcing her to leave the road and crash the vehicle.
The vehicle the driver illegally passed also crashed due to the suspect’s erratic driving seconds later.
Tina Hoffman and her daughter, Trists Hoffman, 16, tragically did not survive the crash as they were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other occupants inside the Lexus, Annie Johnson and Dillon Hoffman, were also injured and hospitalized.
A passenger in the third vehicle identified as Rheinholt Eiseman also sadly died in the collision.
Authorities have not been able to locate the hit-and-run driver who triggered the deadly incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact CHP- Sonora division at (209) 984-3944.
