Family Injured in Pedestrian Crash at La Jolla Shores Driver and Vallecitos
LA JOLLA, CA (June 13, 2021) – A pedestrian crash injured two children and their mother at La Jolla Shores Drive and Vallecitos.
According to an article published by the San Diego Union-Tribune, the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the collision at about 10:20 a.m.
The incident happened when a mother and her two children were crossing at the intersection of La Jolla Shores Drive and Vallecitos. The street is in the La Jolla neighborhood.

San Diego police said for an unknown reason, a white Rolls-Royce SUV then struck the family. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene.
Medical personnel found the three victims who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. They took the juvenile patients to a hospital for further treatment.
The names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, police did not specify if the driver of the SUV stopped after hitting the family.
Officials forced the intersection of La Jolla Shores and Vallecitos to close following the accident. The cause of the pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
