Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-8 Freeway Thursday
La Mesa, CA (September 23, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 8 Freeway Thursday morning.
The FOX5 News reported multiple vehicles collided in the westbound side of the freeway near Lake Murray Boulevard. The nine-vehicle pileup crash took place at approximately 7:30 a.m. At this time, the make and model of the automobiles involved in the wreck remained unknown.
At Least 1 Injured in La Mesa Car Accident, September 23
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The name of the injured party and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the car accident on the Interstate 8 in La Mesa happened.
