Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near Grocery Store in Spring Valley Monday
La Presa, CA (September 13, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of Jamacha Boulevard and Gillespie Drive.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a vehicle struck an individual near a grocery store in the La Presa area of Spring Valley.
The horrible crash took place Monday at approximately 9:45 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found the victim lying unconscious on the ground. Paramedics sadly pronounced the pedestrian dead within minutes of the collision. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Officials mentioned the driver involved in the unfortunate event appeared unharmed after the incident. The motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Detectives continue to investigate at this time the precise circumstances that led to the deadly pedestrian accident in La Presa.
