Bicycle Rider Severely Injured in La Quinta Crash on Eisenhower Drive

LA QUINTA, CA (November 26, 2022) – A bicycle rider was severely injured after a crash on Eisenhower Drive in La Quinta.

According to the KESQ News and My News LA, the accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 10:30 a.m.

The incident happened when a car struck the bicycle rider for an unknown reason in La Quinta. The vehicle hit the bicyclist on Eisenhower Drive, south of Coachella Drive.

Bicyclist Hit by Car

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed the cyclist to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, deputies said the driver of the car stopped and stayed at the site following the incident. Officers forced a stretch of Eisenhower Drive to shut down after the wreck.

The cause of the La Quinta bicycle crash is still under investigation.
