1 Seriously Injured in La Quinta Crash Near Dune Palms Road and Miles Avenue
LA QUINTA, CA (October 2, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash near Dune Palms Road and Miles Avenue in La Quinta.
According to an article published by the KESQ News, the accident happened on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 1 p.m.
Officials said possibly three cars collided for an unknown reason in La Quinta. They crashed near the intersection of Dune Palms Road and Miles Avenue.
3 Cars Collide
One of the vehicles involved rolled over upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found two people hurt.
One patient sustained serious injuries while the other suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took them to the Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Dune Palms and Miles to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the La Quinta crash is still under investigation.
