Man Critically Injured in La Quinta Hit-and-Run Near Avenida Mendoza and Calle Sinaloa
LA QUINTA, CA (June 8, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash critically injured a man near Avenida Mendoza and Calle Sinaloa in La Quinta.
According to an article published by the KESQ News, the accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the collision at about 5:22 a.m.
The incident happened on June 7 when a vehicle struck the man for an unknown reason in La Quinta. The driver hit him near the intersection of Avenida Mendoza and Calle Sinaloa.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then found the victim left lying on the ground as a result of the collision.

He sustained major injuries due to the impact of the accident. Medical personnel rushed the patient to a hospital, where they placed him on life support.
Officials did not release his name. Meanwhile, deputies affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect. They forced the intersection of Avenida Mendoza and Calle Sinaloa to close following the collision.
