2 Hospitalized After Truck Crash on Highway 74 Thursday
La Quinta, CA (July 22, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 74 Thursday evening, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
Our sources indicated a large moving truck overturned for an unknown reason while driving on Highway 74. The crash took place near mile post 90 in La Quinta. When rescue teams arrived at the accident scene, they found the truck approximately 100 feet down the embankment.
Minor Injury Truck Accident in La Quinta, July 22
Shortly after 6:10 p.m., medical personnel responded to the incident. Paramedics reportedly rendered aid to two parties with minor injuries. The dispatch mentioned ambulances transported the two patients to a local hospital for treatment. Pending confirmation, the names of the two people hurt in the collision remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the truck accident in La Quinta happened.
