1 Killed, 1 Badly Injured in Laguna Hills Crash at Oso Parkway and Cabot Road
LAGUNA HILLS, CA (January 15, 2022) – A crash killed a man and badly injured another at Oso Parkway and Cabot Road in Laguna Hills.
The Orange County Register and My News LA wrote that the tragic accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 9 a.m.
The incident began when two cars collided for an unknown reason on rain-slicked roads in Laguna Hills. One of them then careened into two other vehicles in the area.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department said the cars crashed at the intersection of Oso Parkway and Cabot Road. Two of them, a Ford SUV and a Hyundai sedan, obtained major front-end damage.
Multiple Cars Collide
A Jeep came to a rest with major rear damage. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and pronounced a male driver dead at the scene.
Another motorist, a man, sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed him to a trauma center for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Oso Parkway and Cabot Road to shut down for hours following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Laguna Hills crash is still under investigation.
