7 Injured in Lake Balboa Crash on West Roscoe Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 14, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash on West Roscoe Boulevard in the Lake Balboa neighborhood.

According to the KTLA News and CBS Los Angeles, the accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 9:48 a.m.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said multiple vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed in the 17400 block of West Roscoe Boulevard.

Multiple Vehicles Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of seven people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

Two victims sustained life-threatening injuries and the other five survived with non-life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel then took them to the hospital and listed two patients in critical condition.

Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Roscoe Boulevard to shut down for a time following the collision.

The cause of the Lake Balboa crash is still under investigation.
