LAKE ELSINORE, California (December 29, 2014) – Three people were injured Sunday afternoon when their car collided with a motorhome and they became trapped underneath it on Canyon Hills Road at Winterberry Lane in the Canyon Hills community, according to a press release by the Riverside County Fire Department.
About 12:30 p.m., police and paramedics responded to the collision where the car with three occupants was pinned underneath a motorhome. Firefighters had to cut and rescue three people who were stuck underneath the recreational vehicle and extinguish a small fire that resulted after the crash.
Three people were hospitalized including one with moderate to major injuries and two with moderate injuries, the report said.
