Lake Elsinore Accident Riverside Drive, State Route 74 in Riverside County

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (August 29, 2023) — At least one person was injured in a traffic accident in Lake Elsinore on Tuesday afternoon at Riverside Drive and State Route 74.

The traffic collision occurred around 1:46 p.m. on August 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the Riverside Police Department responded to the scene along with CAL Fire Riverside Fire Department paramedics. Upon arrival, medics began CPR on one person with serious injuries.

The vehicles were blocking the eastbound lanes due to the crash.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Lake Elsinore accident at Riverside Drive and Highway 74.
