At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision on Interstate 15 at Nichols Road Wednesday
Lake Elsinore, CA (June 23, 2021) – One person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Interstate 15, according to My News LA.
Authorities said the Toyota Camry crashed for an unknown reason into the back of a semi trailer. The collision happened in the northbound side of I-15 Freeway at Nichols Road in Lake Elsinore.

Shortly after 10:55 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the accident scene. First responders reportedly found one person trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters worked extensively to extricate the victim. After the motorist was freed from the disabled car, paramedics transported them to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar.
The name of the patient, and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the car and truck accident in Lake Elsinore have not been discussed thus far. At the moment, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision.
