LAKE ELSINORE, California (June 27, 2014) — Three people suffered major injuries when the car they were riding in crashed into a block wall and they became trapped in the wreckage on Hillside and Parkside drives, according to a press release by the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
About 3:32 a.m., police say they responded to a single-vehicle crash that required firefighters extensive time to cut and rescue two of the three injured people. All three people were transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital and listed in serious condition.
“This is a tragedy for these people and their families,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Recovering from major injuries sustained in a traffic accident can take a very long time and extensive medical care.”
