Authorities were notified of the collision at around 9:30 p.m. when a 2005 Triumph motorcycle and a Mercedes Benz collided.

Sources disclosed that the motorcyclist, William Bradehoft, 43, of Riverside, had been headed southbound on Grand Avenue when the driver of the Mercedes identified as Wayne Campbell, 64, of Riverside, pulled into the path of the rider triggering a fiery collision as the motorcyclist struck the driver’s side door of the vehicle.

Lake Elsinore Accident

Bradehoft sadly suffered fatal injuries on impact while Campbell lost control and struck a fence also killing resulting in his death.

No further details have been released at this time as the Californa Highway Patrol-Temecula division handles the investigation.

Wrongful Death

A forensic examination of both the vehicle and the motorcycle, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators determine which party ultimately caused the accident. Others potential factors will be looked into as well including whether or not either the driver of the motorcyclist were under the influence at the time of the accident? Was either driver driving recklessly or over the speed limit prior to impact? What were the road conditions and how was the lighting in the vicinity of where the accident occurred? Each of these factors will be assessed allowing police officials to draw up a final conclusion.
