Multi-Vehicle Collision on Ortega Highway Sunday
Lake Elsinore, CA (March 27, 2022) – At least one person died following a traffic crash that occurred on State Route 74, also known as Ortega Highway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported multiple vehicles collided on the highway in Lake Elsinore. CHP logged the case Sunday shortly after 11 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found a motorcycle disabled in the road. Authorities added the wreck also involved a white van. The make and model of the other automobiles involved in the crash have not been revealed thus far.

Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. At approximately 1:25 p.m., officials confirmed one person sadly died in the collision. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the site the whole morning. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on State Route 74 in Lake Elsinore.
