1 Killed, 1 Injured in Traffic Collision at Lakeshore Drive and Ohio Street Thursday
Lake Elsinore, CA (July 1, 2021) – One person died, and another person suffered injuries following a car crash in the area of Lakeshore Drive and Ohio Street.
The Riverside County Fire Department reported a single-vehicle with two occupants crashed for an unknown reason at the intersection in Lake Elsinore. At this time, the make and model of the car involved in the wreck remained undisclosed.

Shortly after 11:57 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the scene. Responding paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to one person. Sadly, the victim succumbed to their injuries and perished at the scene. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The accident dispatch mentioned the second occupants sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident. Due to their severe condition, an ambulance rushed the patient to a hospital.
Additional details on the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. Given that, detectives continue to investigate at this time the exact cause of the fatal car crash in Lake Elsinore.
