Reza Gholamipour, 38, of Aliso Viejo, Identified as Victim of Fatal Motorcycle Accident
LAKE ELSINORE, California (October 12, 2015) — A 38-year-old Aliso Viejo man has died Monday morning in a crash involving his motorcycle and a car on State Route 74 Ortega Highway, just east of Grand Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported at 9:50 a.m. between the bike and a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Police closed down the highway and the CHP are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
“This stretch of Ortega Highway is particularly deadly due to a hair-pin turn in the roadway and there are many of these types of crashes here over the years,” said Attorney James Johnson.
The victim was identified as Reza Gholamipour, 38, by the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner Department.
Indeed, a year ago, two people were hurt including one who was critically injured in a head-on crash at this same location.
