Male Juvenile Struck and Killed by Car
LAKE ELSINORE (December 11, 2018)- According to My Valley News, a major injury turned fatal pedestrian accident took place on December 11 at the intersection of Riverside and Eisenhower drives.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the collision which occurred at roughly 6:05 a.m.
Reports indicate that the driver of a Ford Fusion struck the victim only being described as a 6-year-old boy seriously injuring him.
He was attended to by paramedics before being rushed to a local trauma center for immediate surgery. The juvenile succumbed to his injuries on Monday, December 17.
The name of the deceased child has not been yet released. At this time, neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to have been a factor as the investigation remains ongoing.
