LAKE ELSINORE, California (April 4, 2016) – A toddler was hospitalized after almost drowning Sunday, according to The Press Enterprise.
Authorities responded to a call of a child drowning in the 31900 block of Hyacinth Court about 4:30 p.m.
In a statement released by Riverside County Fire department, the child was submerged for an unknown span of time. The victim was given CPR until the fire officials arrived.
The toddler, who was not older than two, was airlifted to a local children’s hospital and was listed in critical condition. The exact age or gender of the young patient remained unknown at this time.
The incident is still under investigation.
