At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident on San Diego (5) Freeway Thursday
Lake Forest, CA (June 10, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred on Interstate 5 Thursday morning.
Initial records indicated a white Toyota Camry collided with another vehicle in the northbound side of I-5, also known as San Diego Freeway. Authorities mentioned the Toyota sustained major front-end damage due to the force from the impact.
CHP logged the collision at about 9:15 a.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they found at least one person with injuries. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.

The CHP dispatch mentioned the second vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the hit-and-run car crash in Lake Forest.
