Lake Los Angeles crash 170th Longmeadow
1 Killed, 1 Injured in Lake Los Angeles Crash Near 170th Street and Longmeadow Avenue
LAKE LOS ANGELES, CA (September 3, 2022) – A crash killed a man and injured a boy near 170th Street East and Longmeadow Avenue in Lake Los Angeles.
According to an article published by the CBS Los Angeles, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck on September 2 shortly before 6:45 p.m.
The incident happened when at least one car and a big rig collided for an unknown reason in the Lake Los Angeles area. The two crashed near the intersection of 170th Street East and Longmeadow Avenue.
Car and Big Rig Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced a man dead at the scene. A boy ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the child to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the corner of 170th Street and Longmeadow Avenue to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Lake Los Angeles crash is still under investigation.
