2 Injured in Lake Mathews Crash at El Sobrante and Mockingbird Canyon Roads
LAKE MATHEWS, CA (July 22, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at El Sobrante and Mockingbird Canyon roads in Lake Mathews.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:35 a.m.
The incident happened when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lake Mathews. The cars crashed at the intersection of El Sobrante and Mockingbird Canyon roads.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One victim sustained moderate injuries while the other survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel rushed both patients to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Lake Mathews crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of El Sobrante and Mockingbird Canyon to shut down following the wreck.
