Pedestrian Injured in Lakeland Village Hit-and-Run Near Grand and Gregory
LAKELAND VILLAGE, CA (November 22, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian near Grand Avenue and Gregory Place in Lakeland Village.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the incident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 5:06 p.m.
CHP determined that a vehicle struck a female pedestrian. The driver hit her for an unknown reason near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Gregory Place in Lakeland Village.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Lakeland Village School. They found the victim lying on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel treated her for the unspecified injuries she sustained in the incident. The report did not release the name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and then fled. The cause of the Lakeland Village hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Grand Avenue and Gregory Place to shut down following the collision.
