Lakeport Fatal Crash on Lakeshore Boulevard at Rainbow Road

One Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision in Lakeport

LAKEPORT, Calif. (March 17, 2025) — One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Lakeshore Boulevard late Sunday morning near Rainbow Road happened in Lakeport.

The traffic accident happened just before noon on March 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol’s website.

The CHP report stated a male was found unresponsive in one of two vehicles involved.

Firefighters performed CPR on the person, but they were unable to save him. He died shortly after the collision.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Lakeshore Boulevard in Lakeport.
