Passenger Injured in Hit-and-Run DUI Crash on Lakeshore Drive
LAKEPORT, Lake County (June 3 2018) – On May 30, Wednesday, one person was injured in an alleged hit-and-run car crash on Lakeshore Drive.
According to the Press Democrat, a Chevrolet Camaro rolled over in the area at about 2:50 a.m.
Primary reports indicated a passenger in that Camaro was ejected during the crash. Responding emergency teams rendered aid to the victim, who was released shortly after the incident.
Meanwhile, officials said the driver involved apparently evaded the accident scene when the vehicle overturned and returned to its wheels. The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Paul Durbin, of Nice.

As per the article, Durbin stopped at a nearby gas station where he was arrested by Lake County sheriff’s deputies. The man was booked into Lake County Jail on suspicion of felony drunken driving causing injuries and felony hit‑and‑run.
