LAKEPORT, Lake County (March 21, 2017) – A suspected hit-and-run crash left a motorcyclist injured in the area of Stone Drive and Soda Bay Road on Tuesday night, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP first logged the incident when a motorcycle rider and a vehicle collided about 8:26 p.m.
As per the report, paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the victim who sustained unspecified injuries in the collision. The name and condition of the patient at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the driver involved apparently did not stop to render aid and fled. Authorities will gather more information and evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
