Alleged DUI Car Crash at Lake Jennings Road and Old Highway 80
LAKESIDE, San Diego County (May 22, 2018) – A suspected DUI traffic collision occurred in the area of Lake Jennings Road and Old Highway 80, according to On Scene TV.
The accident happened on May 19, Saturday, at approximately 12:45 a.m.
As per the article, a Chevy pickup truck and a black SUV collided head-on at the intersection.
Preliminary investigation revealed the SUV driver crossed the double yellow line and crashed into the pickup. Officials reportedly took into custody the woman driving the SUV on suspicion of drunken driving after she apparently failed the sobriety test at the scene.
The condition of the man driving the Chevy involved has not been disclosed thus far.
California Highway Patrol will be the agency handling the investigation.
