2-Vehicle Car Accident at Lakeside Intersection

LAKESIDE, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2024) — At least one person was injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in Lakeside at Moreno Avenue and San Vicente Avenue.

The collision occurred at around 5:58 a.m. on Jan. 10th, in the East County region of San Diego County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV were involved. It’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident at this time.

Paramedics responded with an ambulance to help those injured in the crash and two flatbed tow trucks came to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.

Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the Lakeside crash on Moreno Avenue.
