Man, 37, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on State Route 67 Near San Vicente Avenue Sunday
Lakeside, CA (June 27, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred in the area of State Route 67 near San Vicente Avenue in Lakeside.
According to the San Diego-Union Tribune, a vehicle struck an individual on Highway 67 early Sunday morning. The force from the impact ejected the victim onto the southbound side of the highway near San Vicente Avenue.

Medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after 2:30 a.m. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident in Lakeside remained unclear.Given that, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the unfortunate event.
