Head-on Crash on State Route 67 at Willow Road
LAKESIDE, Calif. (May 23, 2022) — Two drivers were involved in a Lakeside head-on crash on state Route Highway 67, just north of Willow Road.
The collision occurred about 8:42 a.m. on May 23rd between a black Toyota and a second vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol. One of the motorists veered into opposing traffic and collided with the second vehicle.

CHP officials report one of the vehicles wound up off the roadway and in the bushes.
Authorities responded to the crash scene and located at least one person suffering from minor injuries. Paramedics also came to treat those hurt, but it’s unknown if they took anyone to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the CHP is heading up an investigation into the cause of the Lakeside crash on Highway 67.
