LAKESIDE, SAN DIEGO COUNTY (March 31, 2016) – A 2-car crash resulted in at least one person injured at Wildcat Canyon and Willow Roads Thursday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 3:45 p.m.
Preliminary record stated that two vehicles were traveling on their respective lane ways when suddenly, they collided head-on against each other at the junction.
The force from the impact was significant, leaving at least one party suffering in major injuries, as noted on the incident description of the CHP log team.
Responding paramedic team immediately gave medical attention to the wounded individual.
The involved automobiles in the wreck were a blue Hyundai Elantra, and a black Honda Civic.
Only limited information was provided by the officers on the case as investigation remained underway.
