1 Seriously Injured in Lakeview Crash at Ramona Expressway and Davis Road
LAKEVIEW, CA (February 3, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Ramona Expressway and Davis Road in Lakeview.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place early Thursday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 3:11 a.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lakeview. They crashed at the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Davis Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
CHP described the vehicles as a white transit van and a silver Chevrolet Equinox. One of the rolled onto its side due to the impact of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the area of Nuevo. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the corner of Ramona and Davis to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Lakeview crash is still under investigation.
