4 Injured in Lakeview Crash at Ramona Expressway and Bridge Street
LAKEVIEW, CA (June 17, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash at Ramona Expressway and Bridge Street in Lakeview.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a call about the accident on Thursday afternoon. Officials reported the wreck at around 5:33 p.m.
According to an online post by Cal Fire, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lakeview. They crashed at the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Bridge Street.
Multiple Vehicles Collide in Lakeview
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then extricated at least one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of four people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon took the patients to the hospital for treatment of moderate to serious injuries. Officials did not disclose their names and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Ramona and Bridge to shut down following the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Lakeview wreck.
