6 Injured in Car Crash at Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue
LAKEVIEW, CA (June 22, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash at Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue in Lakeview.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:20 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said six vehicles collided for an unknown reason, just west of San Jacinto. They crashed on the Ramona Expressway at the intersection with Lakeview Avenue.
Several Cars Collide Near San Jacinto
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found several vehicles which obtained major damage due to the impact of the collision.
A total of six people ended up hurt as a result of the Lakeview crash. Five patients sustained minor injuries and the sixth victim suffered moderate injuries.
Medical personnel took at least one of them to the Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced Ramona Expressway at Lakeview Avenue to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the crash.
