Driver Killed, Passenger Injured in Collision Near Myrtle Avenue Tuesday
Lamont, CA (March 2, 2022) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Hall Road Tuesday evening.
According to an article published online by Bakersfield Now, a 2014 Acura veered off the roadway and crashed into a block wall and rod-iron fence. The catastrophic incident took place on Hall Road, just east of Myrtle Avenue in Lamont.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 9 p.m. First responders found the driver, a 17-year-old male, unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the motorist but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.

Meanwhile, the passenger, another 17-year-old male, reportedly sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance rushed the patient to Kern Medical for further treatment and evaluation.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the fatal car crash on Hall Road in Lamont.
