1 Injured in Lamont Hit-and-Run Crash at Highway 184 and Hall Road
LAMONT, CA (June 27, 2021) – One was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Highway 184 and Hall Road in Lamont.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Sunday night. Officers reported the incident at about 8:44 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle possibly struck a male victim in Lamont. The driver involved hit him for an unknown reason at the intersection of Highway 184 and Hall Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near an elementary school and a park. They found the person left lying near a pole as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries he sustained in the crash. Officials did not release his name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the motorist did not stop after hitting the victim and fled the area. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
Officers shut down the intersection of Highway 184 and Hall Road for a time following the accident. The cause of the Lamont hit-and-run collision is still under investigation.
