3 Injured in Lancaster Crash at 40th Street West and Avenue K
LANCASTER, CA (May 24, 2021) – Three were injured after a car crash at 40th Street West and Avenue K in Lancaster.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department received a call about the accident on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:24 p.m.
According to an online report by LaCoFD, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lancaster. They crashed at the intersection of 40th Street West and West Avenue K.
Multi-Car Collision Near Antelope Valley College
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Antelope Valley College. They extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage.
A total of three people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then provided treatment to all the patients for the unspecified injuries they sustained.
Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the intersection of 40th Street West and Avenue K to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Lancaster crash.
