Pedestrian Killed in Lancaster Accident on 10th Street West Near Norberry Street
LANCASTER, CA (April 1, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after an accident along 10th Street West in Lancaster.
According to an article published by The Antelope Valley Times, the tragic collision occurred late Wednesday night. Officers reported the crash at around 11:54 p.m.
The incident happened on March 31 when a female adult pedestrian was in the northbound lane of 10th Street West in Lancaster. At the same time, a Cadillac SUV was going the same direction.
The Lancaster Sheriff’s Station said the car then struck the woman for an unknown reason. The man driving the Cadillac hit her near the intersection of Norberry Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the victim lying on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed her to a hospital where she died. The name of the deceased woman remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, deputies did not mention if the driver immediately stopped after hitting the pedestrian. Authorities forced the road to close for a time following the crash.
