Pedestrian Killed in Lancaster Crash Near Avenue J and Rodin Avenue
LANCASTER, CA (January 3, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian near Avenue J and Rodin Avenue in Lancaster.
According to an article published by The Antelope Valley Times, the tragic accident took place early Monday. Officers reported the wreck at around 12:23 a.m.
The incident began when a male pedestrian was walking on eastbound Avenue J near Rodin Avenue in Lancaster. A Nissan was traveling in the same direction at the time.
The Lancaster Sheriff’s Station for an unknown reason, the car then struck the man. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found him down on the ground.

The victim ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel soon pronounced him dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, deputies did not mention if the man driving the Nissan stopped and stayed at the following the crash.
Officers forced the area of Avenue J and Rodin Avenue to shut down after the incident. The cause of the fatal Lancaster pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
