Pedestrian Killed in Lancaster Crash Near Avenue L and 6th Street East
LANCASTER, CA (April 21, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian near Avenue L and 6th Street East in Lancaster.
According to an article published by the Antelope Valley Times, the tragic accident took place late Wednesday night. Officers reported the collision at around 11:30 p.m.
The incident happened on April 20 when a female pedestrian was walking northbound across Avenue L near 6th Street East in Lancaster. At the same time, a Toyota was going west.
The Sheriff’s Station said for an unknown reason, the driver of the Toyota failed to see the woman crossing the road. In the process, the car struck her.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the victim down on the ground. She ended up suffering serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon rushed the patient to the hospital, where she died. Her name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, deputies did not mention if the motorist stopped right after hitting the woman. Officers forced the area of Avenue L and 6th Street East to shut down for a time following the accident.
