The collision took place at roughly 4:00 p.m. when the driver of a Toyota Yaris, Bobby Bustos, crashed into two landscape workers attempting to attach a trailer to a truck pinning both men.
Jose Chicas, 31, of Ontario, tragically did not survive the impact and was instantly killed and pronounced dead at the scene.
The other man, who has not yet been identified, sustained major injuries and was airlifted to a trauma center. His condition remains unknown.
No other information has been provided at this time.
