LOS ANGELES (July 18, 2017) – An injury collision involving police patrol cars took place in the area of Vermont Avenue and 43rd Place Monday afternoon, according to OnScene.tv.
The report posted a video showing a white van struck from behind by a police car, which was also rear-ended by another police vehicle.
Medical personnels were dispatched to the scene shortly after 5:00 p.m. As per the article, two ambulances transported patients to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries. It was not disclosed how many people were hurt in the crash.
Meanwhile, officials later determined that one of the injured parties is an officer from Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station. The article did not mention the condition of the officer and the other patients involved.
Investigators are still working on identifying what precisely led to the traffic accident.
